Engcons latest tiltrotator the EC233

Swedish-based 705 Engcon will showcase its latest tiltrotator the EC233 for excavators which comes with a 45°tilt angle and up to 33tonnes. The unit is set to replace the EC30.

The machine comes with a robust design with casted body, a central lubrication system and heavy-duty shaft bearings for expanded service life. It also features engcon's positioning system for synchronisation with excavator guidance systems to maximise its efficiency; making it an ePS ready product.

EC233’s standard equipment includes tilt cylinders with check (load holding) valves and the Q-Safe quick coupler for improved safety.

Fredrik Jonsson, head of R&D at Engcon said, "It will be Engcon's most powerful tiltrotator yet. We have great confidence in the model as it was tested long and hard on big machines during the Swedish winter of 2016/2017."

Full scale production is expected for June 2018.
