Emergency care in the UK

Police in the UK stopped a speeding car only to discover the passenger was in the late stages of labour and being driven to hospital by her partner. Before the officers were able to decide what to do next, the woman began to give birth. The officers, having undergone first aid training, assisted. New mother and baby then made the journey together afterwards having come through this emergency unscathed.

Perhaps in jubilation at having passed the test, and no longer having to rely on his friends or ‘dad’s taxi' for transport, the 18 year-old driver inadvisedly pressed pedal to metal.     A rider amongst a group of cyclists on a training run in Australia had a rather unpleasant experience. The man was cycling along a road with his team mates when a young kangaroo jumped out from the road side and collided with him, knocking him from his bicycle. Although he was riding at speed at the time, he was not seriously hurt and as one of his team mates filmed the incident, will have video footage to better remember the incident by.
