Because there are no exhaust emissions, the unit is said to suit duties in tunnel applications or inside buildings, including demolition duties. According to the firm, the GIANT E-skid is set for market distribution in the second half of 2017.

The firm has set up its US operations in Des Moines, Iowa as the independent sales and service office for Netherlands-based GIANT Machinery in North America.
