The Pitbull 2300 screening plant, manufactured by 7594 Lake Erie Portable Screeners, is available in both diesel and electric-powered models, and has been developed with simple operation, maintenance and transport in mind.

It incorporates special features such as full hydraulic operation, tubular frame construction, a Torflex axle and a reversible shaker, and is said to offer high outputs with a wide range of materials such as, gravel, asphalt, topsoil and mulch.

The Pitbull 2300’s 20 foot long (6m) stacking conveyor adjusts hydraulically from heights of 6 feet, 8 inches (2m) up to 13 feet (4m) to feed material directly into a tri-axle or dump truck. This allows users to create larger stockpiles, which increases efficiency by reducing the number of times equipment needs to be moved.

Powered by a 7139 Yanmar diesel engine that complies with 2008 EPA Tier 4 and EU Stage IIIA emissions standards, the company also offers an AC electrical package for applications in confined or enclosed spaces such as tunnels, mines and indoor projects.
