Dynapac unveils new asphalt compactor at Conexpo

According to Dynapac, its CG2300 twin drum asphalt roller offers compact compaction due to its novel drum steering system. Measuring 3.99m long by 2.99m high, the CG2300 offers an inner turning radius of just 2.65m as well as a maximum offset of 1.2m, which allows it to operate in tight spaces. This tight turning capability makes the machine more versatile and highly manoeuvrable, while also making it easier to transport to and from site.

Dynapac is offering a new high performance asphalt compactor
According to 206 Dynapac, its CG2300 twin drum asphalt roller offers compact compaction due to its novel drum steering system.

The high comfort cab offers good drum edge visibility due to the sliding Seat and steering assembly, while ergonomic design provides easier operation. The cab design also means that the operator can see a 1m high object at a distance of 1m from the machine, increasing safety while the visibility give good sight lines to working functions including the drum surface and sprinkler nozzles. A control panel shows operators key machine information, while further operating data can be accessed with the optional DCA-A software, which shows the temperature in front of and behind the roller as well as the number of passes made on each section of the asphalt.

The Dynapac CG2300 is equipped with an ECO Mode as standard, which reduces fuel consumption by more than 15% and helps reduce operating noise. Working noise is further reduced due to a hydraulic driven temperature-guided cooling fan that only operates when required. A twin pump vibration system eliminates the need for a vibration valve, increasing efficiency, aiding servicing and reducing fuel consumption. There is one pump for the front drum and one for the rear and both can be shut off if necessary.

The CG2300 has a system that automatically lowers engine speed to idling if the machine is left for 10 seconds at full rpm in neutral. Meanwhile the Tier 4 Final/Stage IV compliant diesel meets the latest emissions requirements, as well as being fuel efficient. A number of options are available, such as an edge presser/cutter (left and right) and a chip spreader. The machine features a sprinkler system with double sprinkler bars and pumps, and a water capacity of over 700litres of water, allowing operation throughout a working shift with no need for refilling.%$Linker: 2 Asset <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?><dictionary /> 2 12707 0 oLinkExternal www.dynapac.com Dynapac website false /EasySiteWeb/GatewayLink.aspx?alId=12707 false false%>

The DX180LC-3 is the first of Doosan’s mid-range stage IIIB compliant excavators. Powered by a Doosan DL06 common rail six-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine, this 18tonne excavator uses a combination of EGR and DPF to meet emissions legislation. As a result, the new engine offers more power and torque than the stage IIIA DX180LC, and the potential to save 5-10% fuel consumption. A new cab offers greater room for the operator, while more glass helps visibility. Joysticks now feature new proportional thumb
