Atlas Copco Construction Equipment is launching its new F800T tracked paver into the US market. The F800T is a 2.44m class paver and is powered by a Cummins QSB6.7 diesel rated at 127kW that meets the Tier 4 Final emissions requirements. The firm says that this is a productive and stable paver for its class, while the hydraulic components are oversized with many of same units as the firm’s larger F1000 paver to ensure reliability and longevity. Dynapac is offering a 2.44m class paver with its F800T
161 Atlas Copco Construction Equipment is launching its new F800T tracked paver into the US market. The F800T is a 2.44m class paver and is powered by a 196 Cummins QSB6.7 diesel rated at 127kW that meets the Tier 4 Final emissions requirements. The firm says that this is a productive and stable paver for its class, while the hydraulic components are oversized with many of same units as the firm’s larger F1000 paver to ensure reliability and longevity. This will also help cut spares holding costs for fleet customers. The machine runs on a high performance undercarriage system, which is said to be capable of pushing trucks even when the hopper is fully loaded. The machine is available with the proven 2599 Carlson EZ08-15 front mounted electrical screed and features a material transport system from the hopper with oversized components that helps reduce materials segregation in the mat. According to Dynapac, its CG2300 twin drum asphalt roller offers compact compaction due to its novel drum steering system. Measuring 3.99m long by 2.99m high, the CG2300 offers an inner turning radius of just 2.65m as well as a maximum offset of 1.2m, which allows it to operate in tight spaces. This tight turning capability makes the machine more versatile and highly manoeuvrable, while also making it easier to transport to and from site.
