A survey asking Europeans about their driving ability has revealed some curious results. According to the survey, up to 34% of German people score the nation's drivers well for their ability behind the wheel, compared with 29% in the UK. In Poland some 17% of people think the country's drivers score well for driving, compared with a mere 11% in France. A survey asking Europeans about their driving ability has revealed some curious results. According to the survey, up to 34% of German people score the nation's drivers well for their ability behind the wheel, compared with 29% in the UK. In Poland some 17% of people think the country's drivers score well for driving, compared with a mere 11% in France.     The fatality rate on Germany’s road network increased in the first half of 2014, compared with the same period last year. The preliminary figures from Germany's Federal Statistics Office, Destatis, show an increase in road deaths of 9.5% to 1,576 for the first six months of 2014.
