8068 Magna Tyres showed its new M-Terrain tyre for articulated dump trucks – its first E4 rated product – for the first time at INTERMAT 2015. And it introduced its new MTP affordable tyre brand. The M-Terrain tyre is available as a 29.5 R25 size and joins the company’s range of tyres in this size and pattern, including the MA02 (E3+/L3+ tread), MA05 and MA08 (both L5 treads) and MA05S (L5 smooth tread). M-Terrain adds a choice of the more aggressive E4 tread pattern for improved traction in challenging off-road conditions. Because of the wide tyre shoulder design, the protection of the sidewall and tyre flotation are improved. The tread compound provides excellent resistance to cutting and abrasion, says the company. The tyres are already in use in a number of countries, including at limestone quarries in Poland. The new MTP brand is an affordable range of radial tyres aimed at mining and construction applications. There are five specifications covering front end loaders, and articulated and rigid dump trucks. The company offers fast delivery of the tyres in Europe.
