Concrete mixer firm Davino has introduced a Black Edition of its Delta4 self-loading concrete mixer, to mark the machine’s fifth anniversary.

In striking black and orange livery, the Delta4 sits on an all-wheel drive, all-wheel steer chassis that affords two-wheel, four-wheel and crab-steering modes to boost on-site manoeuvrability.

The machine’s upper structure carries a 4.5m3 mixer drum, engine and cab, and like an excavator, is able to rotate continuously through 360 degrees. This has the benefit of improving operator visibility when loading and casting the contents of the mixer drum.

Power comes from a 90kW Deutz TCD3.6 diesel engine driving a four-forward, two-reverse transmission offering a 35kph travel speed.
