CIFA is pumped for its birthday with the K40H truck-mounted boom pump

2203 CIFA is celebrating its 90th year with a focus on the Francophone market, including Africa.

A major part of celebrations will the official introduction into the French market of the K40H truck-mounted concrete boom pump. It is the largest of its type on three axels, according the company.

The unit has as standard a five-section RZ folding system placing boom. The 4th and 5th boom sections are made of light and resistant CIFA Carbotech composite material. The other three sections are high-strength steel.

It has fully hydraulic outrigger controls on both sides of the truck. The front “X” diagonal outriggers have single telescopic opening and swing-out rear outriggers for a quick and easy set-up within narrow work sites.

There is a “load sensing” proportional boom control. Meanwhile, the “BFC” Best-Flex Cifa supporting system means it takes only one worker to change the delivery pipeline - an easy, quick and safe process.

The K40H pump has double thickness concrete pipes, in high resistant steel and inserts of carbide chrome - CIFA Long Life Pipes.

Other standard features include level readers for stabilisation control, accessories for cleaning and pipe washing and an emergency pumping unit kit.

The firm is also unveiling two other pumps. CIFA recently widened its Carbotech range of truck-mounted pumps, the K53H and the 44 tonne K60H. Both can be mounted on four- and five-axle trucks. If mounted on four axles, the limit is 42tonnes for the K53H and 44tonnes for the K60H.

For both models the weight limit is widely respected so to allow users to load accessories, water, diesel and so on without breaching circulation rules and/or special permits and/or technical limits of vehicles.

Assembly on five axles allows an optimal load distribution on single axles so to allow circulation also in countries where regulations are stricter.
