179 CEI Enterprises is now developing a full new line of concrete production plants. This takes the firm, part of 681 Astec Industries, into a new business segment and CEI is working on the engineering required as well as planning its manufacturing and marketing operations for these units. The range will include nine new designs of concrete plants and will include both traditional batch plants and innovative new plant technologies. Included in the new innovative technologies will be the conventional concrete, roller compacted concrete (RCC), and cement treated base (CTB) plant designs that had previously been produced by Astec INC. With this technology transfer, Astec INC is exiting the concrete production plant business to focus on a new renewable energy product line and all concrete plant prodution equipment is being moved over to CEI. Auction firm Ritchie Bros is planning to hold its first unreserved public auction of construction machinery at the Beijing Tianzhu Free Trade Zone during Spring 2013. Ritchie Bros has leased land in the Tianzhu Free Trade Zone (Shunyi, Beijing), located close to Beijing Capital International Airport, the Tianzhu Free Trade Zone is connected to one of China's largest roll-on, roll-off ports in Tianjin.
The new Terex Finlay I-100RS mobile impact crusher and the Terex Finlay J-1170 jaw crusher will be showcased at bauma as part of the Terex Materials Processing exhibit. Claimed by Terex Finlay to be a compact and aggressive tracked primary jaw crusher, the J-1170 is said to have a robust hydrostatically driven Terex jaw chamber which provides high capacity with large reduction ratios. BHS-Sonthofen’s rotor impact mills, which produce crushed sand with special characteristics, will be showcased.
The processed grains are cubical, but their edges are rounded, and the company says that dry mortar produced with this type of sand is easier to use and makes concrete easier to pump.
Haulotte has added the HT21RT and HT23RTJ to its self-propelled boom line-up. The HT21RT has a working height of 20.6m, up to 15.9m of outreach. It is available in both two-and four-wheel drive versions.
