179 CEI Enterprises is now developing a full new line of concrete production plants. This takes the firm, part of 681 Astec Industries, into a new business segment and CEI is working on the engineering required as well as planning its manufacturing and marketing operations for these units. The range will include nine new designs of concrete plants and will include both traditional batch plants and innovative new plant technologies. Included in the new innovative technologies will be the conventional concrete, roller compacted concrete (RCC), and cement treated base (CTB) plant designs that had previously been produced by Astec INC. With this technology transfer, Astec INC is exiting the concrete production plant business to focus on a new renewable energy product line and all concrete plant prodution equipment is being moved over to CEI. A new platform line has been launched by CTE, the B-Lift 390 High Range, a truck-mounted high range telescopic platform which is able to meet the requirements of various markets. The platform reaches 39 m of working height with 26.3m of maximum outreach and 450kg of maximum loading capacity. It has a telescopic boom (4 elements) with main boom and 3 telescopic extensions and H stabilisation system.

Mainly aimed at the Chinese market but set to be available for export in due course is Cheng Gong’s new 966H wheeled loader. The 6tonne class machine slots into the firm’s portfolio of wheeled excavators, sitting between the 5tonne and 9tonne models.
