Caterpillar’s improved excavators offer increased output

Improved productivity and lower running costs are claimed by Caterpillar for its latest crawler excavator models. The firm has updated its 390F and 336F XE excavators to boost performance, while both models also lead their size classes in terms of fuel efficiency. Both machines are said to be powerful, productive and durable, with low maintenance costs and a long working life.

High productivity is claimed for Caterpillar’s 390F excavator

Improved productivity and lower running costs are claimed by 178 Caterpillar for its latest crawler excavator models. The firm has updated its 390F and 336F XE excavators to boost performance, while both models also lead their size classes in terms of fuel efficiency. Both machines are said to be powerful, productive and durable, with low maintenance costs and a long working life. The 390F can be equipped with the firm’s novel, integrated payload system for accurate truck loading and suits use in large earthmoving or quarry applications. Meanwhile the 336F XE is fitted with the payload system as standard equipment. Another standard feature for the 336F XE is the 2D GRADE package, while the machine can also be equipped with a range of optional integrated Cat Connect grade control systems.
