Cat transport

Bystanders in an Ohio town were somewhat perplexed at the sight of a car being driven along the road with a cat tied securely on top of the bonnet (hood). On hearing reports of this occurrence from a series of worried locals, police responded rapidly in a bid to track the offending driver, an elderly woman. However the trail had already grown cold and the cat carrying car had disappeared from the roadway, leaving both police and residents somewhat mystified over the incident. Bystanders in an Ohio town were somewhat perplexed at the sight of a car being driven along the road with a cat tied securely on top of the bonnet (hood). On hearing reports of this occurrence from a series of worried locals, police responded rapidly in a bid to track the offending driver, an elderly woman. However the trail had already grown cold and the cat carrying car had disappeared from the roadway, leaving both police and residents somewhat mystified over the incident. A local animal charity commented that carrying cats in this fashion is not to be recommended.

    Police in the West Virginia were forced to close highway lanes on a key route in the state, due to a spillage of Lego building blocks. The Lego fell from a container being carried on top of a car as a family made a Sunday afternoon trip. High winds lifted the top of the container and the driver and her son quickly realised the Lego was spilling into the roadway of I-79.     A woman driver in Russia discovered to her cost just how bad-tempered camels can be. The woman was driving her Toyota from the Astrakhan region to Penza at night when a group of camels crossed the road in front of her, blocking the way. She beeped her horn at the animals in a bid to encourage them to move out of the way, succeeding instead in infuriating the notoriously grumpy camels.
