Bus lane departure

A woman in Tamil Nadu had a very lucky escape recently. The floor of the bus she was travelling in gave way and she fell out under the vehicle as it travelled along the road. Luckily the bus was not travelling fast and vehicles driving behind were also able to brake. She was not seriously injured in the incident and an investigation is being held into the vehicle condition. Luckily the bus was not travelling fast and vehicles driving behind were also able to brake. She was not seriously injured in the incident and an investigation is being held into the vehicle condition. Meanwhile in China, a woman bus passenger leapt out from a window when she missed her stop. The woman jumped in front of other traffic but was lucky to escape without serious injury. She is likely to be more careful in future.

    A Chinese truck driver had a lucky escape when his vehicle collided with two cars that had crashed right in front of him. The truck then rolled onto one of the cars, spilling its 5.5tonne cargo of frozen fish in the process. Those involved in the crash may have smelt afterwards, but escaped without serious injuries. The truck driver’s wallet was hit hard however, as the costly cargo defrosted and had to be thrown away.
