Bulldozing opinion

A dispute between neighbours took a rather different turn in Washington State in the US. Frustrated following an argument, one man climbed into his bulldozers and used it to wreck four houses belonging to his neighbours. The incident also damaged power lines and disrupted electricity supplies to thousands of others in the area. Luckily no-one was hurt in the incident and the bulldozer driver was subsequently arrested by police.

Nicknamed Sergeant Idly Silent, the dummies will be sited at 13 locations across the city and will keep a close watch for traffic violations using on-board CCTV equipment and ANPR technology. The aim of the dummies will be to aid their human counterparts in tracking those contravening traffic laws.     A man in the UK recently picked up his brand new Ferrari from the dealer, having arranged the purchase earlier. Just one hour later the man was being helped, bruised and battered but not seriously hurt, from the smouldering wreckage of the car. The driver had lost control on a rain-soaked motorway, plunging off the road. Emergency services responded quickly, rescuing the man from his smashed Ferrari 430 Scuderia.
