Buggy mistake

In the US state of North Carolina, a TV golf commentator and the driver of his golf buggy recently caused somewhat of an upset after running over the foot of a state trooper in their vehicle while a golfing event was in progress.

In the US state of North Carolina, a TV golf commentator and the driver of his golf buggy recently caused somewhat of an upset after running over the foot of a state trooper in their vehicle while a golfing event was in progress. The trooper was understandably less than impressed and another officer quickly responded by arresting the two. According to the trooper, the pair in the buggy had not followed instructions to stop.

    Two thieves in the UK robbed a property, taking the keys to the owner’s Porsche sportscar and then driving off with it as well as a TV, a wallet and other assorted items. The driver called his friends on the phone as he drove away, boasting about having stolen the high-performance car, revving the engine for emphasis. The driver quickly found out however that having consumed alcohol, he was not in full control of a vehicle that was also rather more powerful than any he had driven before.

    Police in China have had to tackle a bizarre threat from over 100 fake monks, who had earlier attacked a toll booth and then fled on a double decker bus. Following the incident, police gave chase and managed to stop the bus using a road block. A fight ensued with the fake monks using metal bars and knives to attack the police. While 31 of the monks were arrested at the road block, the others then managed to escape the police in the bus.
