BOMAG’s versatile round vibratory plate

BOMAG says its new round plate vibratory compactor offers versatility

BOMAG says that its new BR 95 e round plate vibratory unit offers a powerful and compact compaction solution. Designed for efficiency and ease of use, this electric unit suits use on projects with strict emission requirements. The BR 95 e can carry out compaction tasks in confined spaces and is said to offer a reliable alternative to combustion engine models.

The BR 95 e enables soil compaction up to a fill height of 25cm, matching diesel-driven equivalent models. The emission-free battery operation complies with strict emission limits and enables the machine to be used in tunnels, buildings or deep trenches during pipeline and sewer construction.

The 360° guide bar ensures precise control while the compact design suits it to use in hard-to-reach areas such as corners, walls or around columns. Designed to be stable, the unit only requires steering.

The design ensures hand-arm vibration stays below 2.5m/s², allowing the operator to use the machine for up to eight hours/day.

The electric drive eliminates the need for oil and filters, reducing oil consumption and maintenance costs. A specially designed V-belt guard minimises wear and extends service life.

Equipped with the eP28 rechargeable battery, continuous operation of round 45 minutes is possible. And with BOMAG’s fast charger, the battery can be fully recharged in under two hours. An LED indicator provides real-time charge status, and battery replacement is tool-free, while the unit uses the same batteries as other equipment in the electric portfolio.
