BOMAG’s revamped BF 800 paver offers new capabilities

New operating features for the 172 BOMAG BF 800 C-2 paver are said to help increase its output and efficiency when working onsite. An important development is the new traffic light system, which helps improve communications between the paver operator and the asphalt delivery truck driver. This ensures a more even supply of material into the hopper and tells the truck driver when it is full.

Some proven features have been retained, such as the high quality screeds, which benefit from a long and heavy design, the company insists. Jonathan Stringham, vice president of marketing at BOMAG explained: “It has the heaviest screeds with the longest smoothing surfaces in its class.”
