BKT’s Earthmax SR 45 Plus tyre is being unveiled

7297 BKT is unveiling its new giant tyre – the Earthmax SR 45 Plus. Described by the Indian headquartered manufacturer as a “real eye-catcher”, the SR 45 Plus tyre is 2.7m in diameter (size 27.00 R 49). Specifically engineered for rigid dumpers, this giant radial tyre is said to be ideal for long-haul operations. Additionally, BKT says the tyre’s strong all-steel casing structure makes it particularly resistant to any kind of impacts such as cuts, tears and abrasions, whatever the operating conditions are.

The Earthmax tyre line-up is said to satisfy user needs on difficult terrains, such as those belonging to quarries, large construction sites, pits and mines.

Earthmax SR 22 is designed for loaders and graders operating on snow-covered terrains that will be displayed in size 20.5 R 25. The large footprint area provides claimed excellent performance during snow-clearing operations.

Earthmax SR 30, engineered for articulated dumpers and wheeled loaders, will be showcased in size 20.5 R 25. Its special compound, resulting from a particular production process, is said to enable the tyre to resist cuts and abrasions as well as to quickly dissipate the heat developed during operations.
Also for ADTs, Earthmax SR 41 will be on display in size 20.5 R 25. To complete the BKT line-up and for severe mining operations, Earthmax SR 49 is showcased in size 33/65 R 33.
