Beware camels

A woman driver in Russia discovered to her cost just how bad-tempered camels can be. The woman was driving her Toyota from the Astrakhan region to Penza at night when a group of camels crossed the road in front of her, blocking the way. She beeped her horn at the animals in a bid to encourage them to move out of the way, succeeding instead in infuriating the notoriously grumpy camels. A woman driver in Russia discovered to her cost just how bad-tempered camels can be. After the son stole a pensioner’s wallet, the mother drove him away from the scene of the crime. The son did tell his mother what he had just done, as the not-so-daring duo drove away.     Police officers in the UK stopped a motorist recently when they spotted her driving with a rather unusual alternative to a safety belt. The woman was peering from between the legs of a high chair, which she had somehow managed to squeeze into the front of her car. The officers felt that this was unsafe as it obscured her view and stopped her accordingly. Why she did not opt to put the high chair in the boot (trunk) of her car is not known.
