Bee careful

Several mountain bikers in Spain recently underwent a painful experience when riding off-road. The men were attacked by a massive swarm of bees while taking part in the Tropical Bike Motril competition. A number of the cyclists jumped off their bikes while being attacked, with five having to be treated in hospital afterwards. One of the cyclists was stung 80 times.

The pair were visiting the Kruger National Park in South Africa when their VW Polo car was first rammed and then flipped onto its roof by the enraged male elephant.
