Bauer is adding value for money with its ValueLine series
8350 Bauer Maschinen is presenting a new generation of its ValueLine, a medium-sized platform range for bored piles with a diameter of up to 2.5m and a drilling depth of up to 70m.

The platform range includes the BG 26 as the lowest priced-model and the larger version, the BG 30.

The core element of the medium-sized platform range is the joint BT base carrier, which was entirely designed and constructed by Bauer. The modern and highly functional support does not just score points for its high safety standards and very low noise emissions.

The machine can also be equipped with a 298kW CAT C 9.3 motor that fulfills the most recent emission standard according to Tier 4 final. Large cross-sections in the hydraulic pipes and a degree of optimal motor efficiency guarantee economic fuel consumption. For difficult ground conditions, a BTM torque converter or a casing oscillator can be attached.

The ValueLine’s integrated service platform allows for easy and secure access for all types of maintenance work on the upper carriage. A step that is connected with a part of the lateral paneling is pulled out of the upper carriage. All service points can now be easily reached from the ground or from the platform.

Also, the first measurements taken during use at construction sites showed that the machine's fuel consumption was up to 30% lower than that of its predecessor.

Bauer will also display the BG 24 H with the new BT 75 base carrier, all with significant safety-relevant developments. There is an integrated service platform for easy, convenient and secure access for maintenance work. The practical service platform can be pulled out like a drawer, so the motor paneling automatically becomes the fall protection.

In addition to the BG series rotary drilling rigs, Bauer is displaying the duty-cycle cranes of the MC series and diaphragm wall technology, with cutters and grabs. Bauer subsidiaries such as Klemm, Prakla, Hausherr, RTG, ABS Trenchless and MAT will also display their new developments.

It was also 40 years ago that the first Bauer rotary drilling rig, the BG 7, was first used on a construction site and which was, according to Bauer the prototype for all rotary drilling rigs that have now been built by different manufacturers worldwide.

Designed for tests set down in the AASHTO TP10-93 and EN 12697-46 standards, the machine can test three specimens simultaneously inside a temperature-controlled cabinet which can vary in increments of 10 degrees between - 40 and +40 degrees C. “We decided to come up with a flexible approach where each station can test statically or dynamically. And you can have any combination,”

  • Hatz Diesel goes quieter with its 1D81 Hydro concept
    January 6, 2017
Hatz’s Diesel’s 1D81 Hydro concept has been developed to offer a low noise level solution for applications using single-cylinder diesel engines. Still at prototype stage, the 667cc and 772cc capacity single-cylinder engine is a new variant of an existing Hatz engine design. As such, it uses common components from the Hatz range, but it differs with an all-new cylinder block and cylinder head design that includes a water jacket, allowing liquid cooling to be introduced.
