A wheelchair-bound man in Spain has been caught on camera weaving in and out of Barcelona traffic and moving faster than surrounding vehicles. The street racer was cruising along Barcelona's busy Carrer de Muntaner when a motorcycle passenger took the video.

A wheelchair-bound man in Spain has been caught on camera weaving in and out of Barcelona traffic and moving faster than surrounding vehicles. The street racer was cruising along Barcelona's busy Carrer de Muntaner when a motorcycle passenger took the video.

It is worth noting that the market is now offering solutions to wheelchair users wanting to attain surprisingly high speeds. A road-touring adaptor comes in three versions – city (70km/h), highway (90km/h) and freeway (120km/h). Perhaps road builders will in the near future have to design in dedicated wheelchair lanes.

    The French government is considering lowering the national speed limit from 130km/h to 120km/h on motorways and from 90km/h to 80km/h on roads. The move, being led by Minister of the Interior Manuel Valls, comes after the recent announcement of a drop in the number of deaths on roads in France during the first half of 2013.
