Among the wide array of road construction sector models on 161 Atlas Copco 206 Dynapac’s vast exhibition stand at bauma 2016 is the company’s show launched MF2500CS mobile feeder.

The innovative model features a high performance conveying system that the Swedish sector giant claims can empty a truck in less than 35 seconds! The 2.55m wide feeder is said to be easy and cost-effective to transport, with no special permission needed.

Furthermore, the feeder is highly operator friendly, while model operating costs are low, and reliability and serviceability high. What’s more, an optional Swingapp makes this a highly flexible and versatile machine.

Equipped as standard with a short conveyor, the Dynapac MF2500CS mobile feeder can also work with an add-on Swingapp. The Swingapp transforms the Dynapac MF2500CS into a feeder suitable for offset feeding application; feeding two pavers side by side, feeding one paver from a different lane, fill medians etc. The Swingapp conveyor can swing 55° to both sides presenting a best in market maximum feed capacity of 2000tonnes/hour.

Innovative design helps customers to keep the investment costs low as the Swingapp can transform a Dynapac MF2500CS to an ‘offset feeder’. The same Swingapp can be mounted on any Dynapac MF2500CS allowing optimal fleet management.  Faster reaction time to various jobsite requirements offer huge advantage to customers thanks to a mount / dismount time that is under 45 minutes! When not required, the Swingapp can be dismounted, which considerably prolongs the lifetime of the belt and minimizes costs.

The Dynapac MF2500CS operation is fully automated by steering, distance and feeding sensors. Optional joystick integrates main drive functions and the Swingapp functions put the operator in full control. The new ‘platform lift’ option gives the operator excellent visibility, especially while working with the Swingapp mounted on the DynapacMF2500CS.

Cutting edge precision paving on pavers large and small is something else Atlas Copco Dynapac is globally renowned. The company has certainly lived up to its well merited reputation at this week’s exhibition.

Among its paver line models on show in Munich are the large Dynapac SD2500 and SD2550, packed with new features helping to improve paving quality and productivity, with the operator also enjoying more cabin comfort. The SD2500 and SD2550 pavers also have new paving control features including TruckAssist and SetAssist systems, as well as an improved operator panel with a new display. Simplified jobsite planning, follow-up and paving process optimisation is said to be ensured by coupling Atlas Copco’s Dyn@Link/FleetLink fleet management system with BPO ASPHALT.

Meanwhile, the new Atlas Copco Dynapac SD1800 Citypaver, also on show this week, has a laying capacity of 350tonnes/hour and covers paving widths from 0.7m up to 4.7m. Said to be ideal for streets and city road construction, the SD1800 Citypaver is also well suited for repair jobs. The 2016 generation model is marked by the introduction of the SD series into the Citypaver class. Among many other improvements, it means that all the beneficial paving controls introduced with PaveManager 2.0, which are well known from the Large SD Dynapac Pavers and highly valued by customers, are now present in this product range.
