Amomatic develops cloud-base asphalt system

Finnish Asphalt Plant manufacturer Amomatic has developed a cloud-based system for recording where and when asphalt loads are delivered. Two contractors – one in Finland and one in Estonia – are already using AmoTrack. “You can see where each batch was placed, what the temperature was,” said Michael Gardias, sales and business development, Africa. The information is entered via a touchscreen system which Amomatic has designed so that drivers find it easy to use.

Finnish Asphalt Plant manufacturer 8411 Amomatic has developed a cloud-based system for recording where and when asphalt loads are delivered.

AmoTrack is a sister product to Amomatic’s existing AmoWeb cloud computing system which allows remote operation of asphalt plants. “We have one customer in Finland who is operating the asphalt plant with just one person: he sits in a wheeled loader which he uses to feed in the aggregate, controlling the operation from a tablet inside the machine,” said Gardias.
