The accessible technology can be utilised for the entirety of a project, or during a specific phase or phases.

Construction planning and order management
Customer orders are provided digitally and monitored in real time. Orders can be transmitted as binding or non-binding, which the plant can immediately accept, reject or respond to in more detail.

Planning and production at the asphalt plant
The tool uses digital orders to create a production schedule, which is automatically transferred to the plant’s control system. Operating and production data and batch protocols can be analysed centrally, even if multiple control systems are utilised.

Loading and delivery of materials
As new mix is weighed, the system captures and transmits the appropriate delivery data to the truck driver and the construction team. The communication works both ways: The mixing plant receives real-time information about the truck locations.

Paving and compaction
Crews know the temperature of the mix at each stage, from production through compaction. Ammann Compaction Expert (ACE) provides control and guidance.

Thorough documentation
The data helps uncover opportunities – and at an early stage while adjustments can still be made. Later, a detailed history can be shared with clients.

The use of machine control technology on a bypass construction job has boosted quality quality control is a topic that clients as well as contractors are finding increasingly important. Control systems are being used more and more often on construction sites as a result, so as to collect data on a range of processes. This includes looking at the asphalt being supplied to site and on the quality of paving during construction. Using this data, processes can be optimised in the medium-term and, in the long-ter
