Finnish company 2180 ALLU has taken the wraps off its new M Series attachment for the mining and quarrying sector.

On display for the first time ever at Conexpo, the new bucket crusher is described by the company as a game changer with the attachment available in three models for excavators from 50tonnes-160tonnes and three models for wheeled loaders from 30tonnes-90tonnes.

“ALLU M Series mobile solution for soft rock mining, or as most of us call it the Monster, is designed for mining, more specifically for crushing of soft rock and minerals,” says the company.

“These new units are on their way to change the rock and mineral mining processes for good.”

ALLU, an innovator and inventor of bucket type screening and crushing attachments, says it has taken the attachment one step further and is “introducing a new way of working for mining sector as well.”

“By cutting unnecessary steps from the material processing, from a seven-step process to two-step process, the mining operation can be executed efficiently and at the same time make substantial savings in primary mining processes. Also considerable benefits are achieved in secondary processes in harbours, power plants or material specification sites.”

In addition to big M Series, ALLU also introduced smaller ALLU DL screening buckets for fine screening that are built with special top scree technology developed by ALLU. The construction is clog-free and ensures good capacity even with wet materials. With the new design vaulting or bridging between the screening discs can be minimised.
