Precision working can be achieved using grade control systems from Caterpillar

Caterpillar continues to widen its array of grade control options for customers, offering new functionality and performance. The company says that its latest Cat Grade 3D system delivers high precision, allowing users to achieve high quality without need for reworking. The Cat Payload for Excavators package similarly helps to track productivity accurately.

The firm’s latest Cat Command technology meanwhile enables remote machine operation from a safe distance. Operators can control machines in a safe and comfortable environment while the machines can be working in areas that may be unsafe or are remote and difficult to access, such as in deserts or at high altitude.
