Zoomlion’s new hydraulic shovel is the firm’s largest ever excavator

From Zoomlion comes a surprise launch at bauma China in the shape of its impressive 300tonne class shovel, the ZE3000ELs. This huge machine is powered by a Cummins QSK50 diesel rated at 1,044kW for this installation. The machine wields a 17m3 bucket, allowing it to pass match loading of rigid dump trucks in the 100tonne payload class.

Zoomlion’s ZE3000ELs shovel is the firm’s largest ever hydraulic excavator
From 1175 Zoomlion comes a surprise launch at bauma China in the shape of its impressive 300tonne class shovel, the ZE3000ELs. This huge machine is powered by a 196 Cummins QSK50 diesel rated at 1,044kW for this installation. The machine wields a 17m3 bucket, allowing it to pass match loading of rigid dump trucks in the 100tonne payload class. According to Zoomlion, the development of this excavator involved the registering of 39 patents. It is the largest ever hydraulic shovel developed and built in China and takes the firm’s excavator line-up into the market for removing overburden from large quarries as well as mining operations.
