Zoomlion to introduce full line of CE-marked tower cranes

Chinese manufacturer Zoomlion will have a full range of CE-marked flat-topped tower cranes by the middle of next year. Following its buy-out of JOST’s flat top crane technology in 2011, Zoomlion is planning to market CE-marked range of 20 tower cranes. The first to market is the mid-sized T320-16, which was launched at INTERMAT. This will shortly be followed by a small-sized crane and then by the extra small crane at the end of the year, with the full range becoming available by June 2013

Chinese manufacturer Zoomlion will have a full range of CE-marked flat-topped tower cranes by the middle of next year.

Following its buy-out of JOST’s flat top crane technology in 2011, 1175 Zoomlion is planning to market CE-marked range of 20 tower cranes.

The first to market is the mid-sized T320-16, which was launched at INTERMAT. This will shortly be followed by a small-sized crane and then by the extra small crane at the end of the year, with the full range becoming available by June 2013.

The Chinese manufacturer has added extra boom length options to the original JOST JT312.12 design. It is also likely that Zoomlion will carry out similar upgrades to the other JOST designs.
JOST’s original designs range from the 32tonne capacity JT612.32, which can be fitted with jibs up to 85m, down to the 6tonne capacity JT72.6.

Zoomlion started with the 16tonne machine, as it is a very popular size in Europe – especially in Germany and Poland – and said it aims to have 10 CE marked cranes in the European market this year and another 10 by mid 2013.
