Yanmar says that its new SV26 is the first machine from the firm that has been completely designed and constructed in Europe. This short tailswing mini excavator is said to offer high performance, low fuel consumption and good durability.

Yanmar’s new mini excavators offer high performance

7139 Yanmar says that its new SV26 is the first machine from the firm that has been completely designed and constructed in Europe. This short tailswing mini excavator is said to offer high performance, low fuel consumption and good durability. Along with the new SV16, SV18, SV22 and SV26 short tail excavators, the firm is now offering models that provide a combination of high performance as well as compact dimensions and low weight. Said to be easy to transport by trailer to the next job site, the machines are mobile and versatile and can be used with attachments such as hydraulic hammers or drills.

Also new from Yanmar are the versatile C08 and C12 transporters, which can be employed alongside the mini excavators for carrying materials to and from site in poor ground conditions. The machines feature robust undercarriages, which allows them to operate in marshy ground. The larger C12 is equipped with a three way tilting mechanism. Another key feature is its small turn radius is perfectly suited for working in confined spaces. The compact C08 meanwhile is just 810mm wide in its standard version, while it offers a load capacity of 800kg. A high lift variant offers a lift height of 1.5m.

The machines are manufactured in Europe, at the company’s production site in Saint-Dizier, France.
