XCMG’s Brazilian plant

XCMG is now developing its manufacturing capability in Brazil. The foundation for the facility was laid on December 12th 2012 and is the first wholly-owned manufacturing base construction project that XCMG has engaged in during the course of its international development. The foundation for the facility was laid on December 12th 2012 and is the first wholly-owned manufacturing base construction project that XCMG has engaged in during the course of its international development.

Covering an area of 800,000m2 and representing a total investment of US$200 million, the facility aims build some 7,000 units of construction machinery/year when production ramps up to capacity. The machines being built at the factory include cranes, excavators, loaders, compactors and graders.
