World of Asphalt/Aggregates - strong attendance

The organisers of the 2012 World of Asphalt/World of Aggregates event in Charlotte North Carolina claim records have been broken for this year’s exhibition and conference. The event is run by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, AEM.

The organisers of the 2012 World of Asphalt/World of Aggregates event in Charlotte North Carolina claim records have been broken for this year’s exhibition and conference. The event is run by the 1100 Association of Equipment Manufacturers, AEM.

Some 480 exhibitors booked space in the exhibition area, which increased 30% to 10,684m² for 2012. By the second day some 6,100 industry professionals had entered the convention centre for the combined exhibition/conference. Meanwhile 6,000 had registered for the education sessions on the asphalt paving and aggregates sectors.
