The work on the construction of the next stretch of the A100 motorway in Berlin, Germany, is about to start. The project is expected to cost €473 million (US$616.72mn) and be completed by 2020.
China's Exim Bank has paid €94.30 million as the first installment for construction of the first part of the Bar-Serbian border motorway.
Montenegro’s minister of finance, Radoje Zugic, said that construction is expected to begin within the next few weeks.
Exim Bank has approved 85% of the total €810 million load, payable over 20 years, for construction of the first part of 49km of the motorway. Is set at 2% with a grace period of six years.
Total length of the motorway will be 170km.
At least US$100 million will be injected into road projects in Honduras during 2015, the majority of which will be under Public-Private Partnership (PPP) deals. Construction work is commencing on the Hamilton section of New Zealand’s Waikato Expressway. The work is valued at US$$653.7 million (NZ$973 million). The stretch forms part of the 102km Waikato Expressway project. Construction work for the project will include building new pedestrian and cycling links, as well as five interchanges and 17 bridges. The entire project is scheduled for completion in 2020. The Cambridge section of the expressway was opened to traffic recently, in December 2015.
