The work on the construction of the next stretch of the A100 motorway in Berlin, Germany, is about to start. The project is expected to cost €473 million (US$616.72mn) and be completed by 2020.
In Australia, New South Wales Roads Minister Duncan Gay said talks are continuing between federal and state governments to develop a US$3.03 billion (AUD 3bn) F3-M2 road link in north-west Sydney. It is reported that NSW and federal governments will each pump up to US$407.83 million (AUD 400mn) in to the project. This facility is supplying customers around the world with spare parts for the firm’s wheeled and crawler excavators, wheeled loaders and bulldozers, as well as some other machines. The new facility has been opened followinga policy of centralisation of parts supply. Work started to construct the facility in mid-2013.
