Work has begun on the Long Van-Long My road in Vietnam's Binh Dinh province. The US $47.71 million project (VND 995bn), due for completion in 2015, will create a 7km road connecting National Highways 1D and 1A in Quy Nhon town.

Work has begun on the Long Van-Long My road in Vietnam's Binh Dinh province.
The US $47.71 million project (VND 995bn), due for completion in 2015, will create a 7km road connecting National Highways 1D and 1A in Quy Nhon town.
The project to construct the ring road around Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City is now gathering pace. The project to construct three separate sections of the Ring Road No2 is expected to cost US$660.35 million, according to an estimate by the HCMC Department of Transport. The first section of the ring road runs from Binh Chanh District's Nguyen Van Linh Parkway to National Highway 1's An Lac Intersection. The second section of the new ring road runs between the Binh Thai Intersection in District 9
A total of 29 transport projects costing a combined US$7.42 billion, including the Phan Thiet-Nha Trang road, will be carried out in Vietnam from 2013 until 2016, according to the country’s Ministry of Transport. Of the 29 projects, 18 projects worth $2.34 billion collectively were due to be commissioned by the end of 2013.
The ministry has said that the projects are supported by the government of Japan through $6 billion of ODA funds, including around $774.59 million for 2013.
