Work has begun on the Long Van-Long My road in Vietnam's Binh Dinh province. The US $47.71 million project (VND 995bn), due for completion in 2015, will create a 7km road connecting National Highways 1D and 1A in Quy Nhon town.

Work has begun on the Long Van-Long My road in Vietnam's Binh Dinh province.
The US $47.71 million project (VND 995bn), due for completion in 2015, will create a 7km road connecting National Highways 1D and 1A in Quy Nhon town.
Argentina is receiving a loans from the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) worth US$300 million for road improvements. The loan will be used to widen and improve roads across the country and is for 25 years with a grace period of 4.5 years. The Argentina Government will provide a further $200 million for road development projects. Planned projects include a new 120km dual carriageway as well as work to a 35.4km section of National Route 19 in Cordoba Province.

The Tunisian Government is setting out plans for a new ring road to be constructed in the Greater Tunis area. This 80km ring road project is expected to cost in the region of US$365 million to construct. The project forms part of a series of works in the country intended to improve connectivity. The Hungarian national road management firm Magyar Kozut (MK) began road upgrade projects worth US$ 171.38 million (HUF 38bn) in 2012. The upgraded highways covered a total length of 360km. Development projects were carried out in line with the country's Regional Development Operational Programme (ROP) as part of Hungary's New Szechenyi Plan (USZT). Meanwhile, it has also been revealed that around $496.78 million (HUF 110bn) has been allocated for road renovation works in total by the end of 2013.
