Work has begun on the Long Van-Long My road in Vietnam's Binh Dinh province. The US $47.71 million project (VND 995bn), due for completion in 2015, will create a 7km road connecting National Highways 1D and 1A in Quy Nhon town.

Work has begun on the Long Van-Long My road in Vietnam's Binh Dinh province.
The US $47.71 million project (VND 995bn), due for completion in 2015, will create a 7km road connecting National Highways 1D and 1A in Quy Nhon town.
Work has begun on the Tan Vu-Lach Huyen Bridge located in Hai Phong, a northern port city of Vietnam. The 5.4km long and 16m wide bridge is expected to be completed by early-2017. The structure’s total construction cost combined with the cost of a 10km road leading to it will be US$562.28 million (VND 11.85 trillion).
Vietnam’s Belt Road Three project is being planned at present, with some of the financing still being sought. The route will run between Tan Van District and Nhon Trach District, crossing the Dong Nai River. The project is expected to cost US$2.46 billion to construct and will feature four lanes initially, with additional lanes being built in future phases. The 89.3km route has been approved and runs through the provinces of Binh Duong, Dong Nai and Long An, as well as through the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh
Work on a new 550km-long coastal highway is to commence in northern Vietnam. The highway will be built across five provinces and will connect with Haiphong City. The planned route will run through the provinces of Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh and Quang Ninh. The project should be complete by 2020 should all go to plan and is to be carried out under the PPP model. The cost of the entire highway has yet to be revealed. New road and bridge links are being opened to drivers in Vietnam, boosting connectivity and transport for the country. The 60km Ha Long-Van Don expressway in Quang Ninh is now open to traffic, having cost around US$514.4 million to construct. The Ha Long-Van Don expressway links the Ha Long - Hai Phong - Hanoi expressway with Van Don Airport and was built by the BOT Bien Cuong Joint Stock Company.
