Widening work in Western Australia (WA) will commence on a key highway link in June of this year.

Widening work in Western Australia (WA) will commence on a key highway link in June of this year. The Kwinana Freeway currently has two lanes in either direction and will be widened so that it has three lanes in either direction, with the widening work staring in June of this year. The construction phase is expected to take 10 months to complete. The project will cost US$58.5 million (A$58 million), with the cost being shared jointly by the Federal Government and the State Government via Main Roads.
