Wacker Neuson unveils dual-power minis

Wacker Neuson has unveiled its first dual-power mini excavator, based on the 803. As well as the machine’s standard diesel engine, an external electro-hydraulic drive can be attached to the excavator through a plug-and-play connector in the undercarriage, leaving the upperstructure with full 360 degree rotation. This makes the machine ideal for use in emission-free applications like internal demolition work.

This makes the machine ideal for use in emission-free applications like internal demolition work.

At just 700mm wide, the 803 is Neuson’s smallest excavator, capable of being driven through a standard doorway. For greater stability when working, the tracks can be telescoped out to a working width of 860mm.

The dual drive pack option is to be made available on the 803, the larger 1404 model and the EZ17.

JCB will launch 427 and 437 wheeled loaders at Bauma, powered by Stage IIIB/Tier 4 Interim Cummins engines. First seen in prototype form at last year’s Intermat show, the two loaders are powered by the Cummins QSB6.7 engine, which offers a 9.4% increase in torque over the previous model. This drives through a lock-up converter and customers can choose a standard four-speed or optional five-speed transmission, which delivers a 16% drop in fuel consumption. In-cab noise levels have been reduced to just 68dB(A

  • Compact bulldozer now offered by LiuGong
    January 6, 2017
LiuGong is now offering a compact bulldozer that features a hydrostatic drive system, allowing a high degree of manoeuvrability. The CLGB110 dozer is powered by a Cummins diesel rated at 82kW and which meets Tier 3/Stage IIIA emissions legislation. Because of the hydrostatic drive, the machine has a tight turning circle while the graduated speed changing means that track wear rates are reduced. Weighing in at 9.9tonnes, the bulldozer is offered with different blade types depending on the application.
