Wacker Neuson unveils dual-power minis

Wacker Neuson has unveiled its first dual-power mini excavator, based on the 803. As well as the machine’s standard diesel engine, an external electro-hydraulic drive can be attached to the excavator through a plug-and-play connector in the undercarriage, leaving the upperstructure with full 360 degree rotation. At just 700mm wide, the 803 is Neuson’s smallest excavator, capable of being driven through a standard doorway. For greater stability when working, the tracks can be telescoped out to a working width of 860mm.

The dual drive pack option is to be made available on the 803, the larger 1404 model and the EZ17.
