Vietnam road safety improving

Vietnam is showing a major improvement in road safety, with a reduction in crashes. According to the National Committee on Traffic Safety of Vietnam, the number of crashes reported in the country during the last 12 months dropped by 51% compared to the data for 2011. The number of injury cases caused by road crashes decreased by 60%, while that of deaths declined by 24%. Vietnam is showing a major improvement in road safety, with a reduction in crashes. According to the National Committee on Traffic Safety of Vietnam, the number of crashes reported in the country during the last 12 months dropped by 51% compared to the data for 2011.     Road crashes in Brunei caused more deaths in 2015 compared with 2014. The data from Brunei's Fire and Rescue Department shows that from January to November 2015, there were 15 road deaths compared with 10 fatalities from road crashes in 2014.     Vietnam has seen a drop in the number of reported road crashes. The National Traffic Safety Committee of Vietnam reported that 7,185 people were killed by crashes between the 16th December 2014 and the 15th October 2015.
