Elevated highways stretching 34.5km in Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City may be developed at US$2.68 billion. The Prime Minister and the Ministry of Transport are tweaking the project in a move to lure investors. None have come forward at present.
An agreement has been reached in Vietnam for construction of a bridge over the Dong Nai River close to Ho Chi Minh City.
The proposed 4.5km, six-lane cable stayed structure – the Cat Lai Bridge - could cost as much as US$268 million.

Construction of a new expressway is intended to improve the connection between Cambodia’s capital Phnom Penh and Vietnam’s capital, Ho Chi Minh City.
