Some people have tents and some have small portable protective huts big enough for one person.

But there is a better way to head out across a frozen lake, as this do-it-yourself ice fisherman shows.

He modified his ageing snowmobile to power a small road trailer. In this video, he shows off the camper, and then proudly takes off across the lake.

But he isn’t the only one to fight back against the harsh North American winter. It takes courage to drive down the wrong side of a motorway and a lot of nerve. But this driver in China appears to have both in large quantities as he heads off on his journey. Apparently, his passenger is his equal when it comes to sangfroid. He even appears in camera shot with a big smile on his face. Luckily no crash took place. However, the video stops just before the taxi arrives at something in the road. Was it a road block? If that driving experience wasn’t too unsettling for anyone, then c

California is home to many weird and wonderful home-made vehicles, some more useful than other. But few can be as useful as the car pool table car which can do up to 160kph on the freeway. As shown by this – complete with all the double entendres you could wish for – the owner can drive to the beach, park up and proceed to play pool, which apparently attracts a lot of beach bunnies. http://www.msn.com/en-gb/video/watch/video/vi-AAaCRoj?ocid=OutNUK&from=OutNUK&FORM=BWVOLC A late model Chevrolet Mont

Irate Chinese construction workers decided enough was enough and took to the streets to settle their turf war, caught on video by a bystander. At one point, a wheel loader is seen charging in from the left, coming to the rescue of his overturned fellow loader. He almost rights the stricken machine that is lying on its side. After the dust had settle, their site managers might have had something to say about their use of company equipment. So where exactly to old dozers go to die? Are they carted of

Sure, it’s a spectacular run down a mountain road. But it’s also an extremely visual reminder that highway infrastructure is important for work and play. Let’s not forget that the road - in this case Switzerland’s Grimsel Pass, 2,164m - has to be smooth enough for Jean Yves “Rollerman” Blondeau to reach those speeds without being chucked over edge and down a cliff. The pass is a driver’s delight as it crosses the continental divide in the Alps where rivers flow one way towards the North Sea and the ot
