VF Venieri’s 19-tonne wheeled loader will be competitive on price, says Venieri.
7276 VF VENIERI has diversified from its traditional range of smaller machines to launch the 18-63, a 19tonne, 3.5m3 wheeled loader.

Though this is the most widely sold type of machine in the world, Venieri believes its new machine can forge a place for itself, according to managing director Filippo Muccinelli Venieri.

“It is a big market but there are big competitors,” said Muccinelli. “Our strategy up until now was to stick to a niche market. But now we need to go in this direction.”

Venieri believes it can win a slice of this huge market because it will be competitive on price. “We decided to try to prototype the machine and make a price build-up. We are very happy with the result: the price of our 3.5 m3 is, without any doubt, very competitive in the  worldwide market.”

The 18-63 has hydrostatic transmission, as has all of VF Venieri’s range. It is equipped with 2304 ZF axels and 299 Perkins engine.

Rototilt, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2016, is introducing an additional tiltrotator to its line-up, to better suit excavators in the 14-19tonne sector. The R5 has been designed to sit between, and slightly overlap the existing R4 and R6 models, delivering an improved power to weight ratio for mid-range excavators. The attachment features improved castings and hardening techniques that will be integrated into existing models. The R5 can be equipped with an optional smart ICS control system

  • Mecalac launches four-wheel steer telescopic loader range
    February 8, 2013
Mecalac is expanding its telescopic handler offering with the introduction of a line of four-wheel steer telescopic machines. The AT series will initially consist of two machines the AT900 and the AT1050, both using what Mecalac calls Z plus kinematics to provide strong breakout forces with a parallel lift. The AT900 weighs 6,554kg and can be used with 0.9-1.5m3 capacity buckets. The larger AT1050 has been designed to work with 1.05-1.6m3 buckets and offers slightly high breakout forces and dump height.
