Uzbekistan 2013 road construction and repair works to cost around US$464.5mn
Around US$464.5 million is due to be spent building or upgrading more than 520km of roads in Uzbekistan during 2013, according to national road construction company Uzavtoyul. The extra-budgetary regional road fund will pay for the works.

Uzbekistan is setting out a major plan for road repairing, rebuilding and upgrading. The Uzbek Road Fund is allocating a budget of US$1.02 billion that will be used for the construction and repair of the country’s roads during 2016. Of this budget the largest slice, $544 million, will be used to construct key national routes and improve the country’s links with its neighbours. The Sichuan Development and Reform Commission plans to spend US$70.16billion on 500 major projects in the Chinese province during 2012. Work on 11 rail projects will begin in 2012.
