A US$1.7 billion Brazil highway concession

A US$1.7 billion Brazil highway concession package is planned.

The Rota do Zebu highway concession in Brazil’s Minas Gerais State is expected to require US$1,7 billion of investments. This will include upgrades, improvements and maintenance works. The plans will include widening the 44km road itself as well as adding nearly 4km of access roads.

Meanwhile, interest has been strong for the concession for the Sorocabana road in São Paulo State. The winner of the tender has yet to be announced.
