The 6069 World of Asphalt 2015 event has received official approval from the 908 US Government. The exhibition has been selected to participate in the International Buyer Program (IBP) Select Service of the 2799 US Department of Commerce. The IBP Select Service is designed to help bring qualified international customers to US trade shows and facilitates connections with export-minded exhibitors. The 2015 World of Asphalt Show & Conference will be held March 17th-19th 2015 in Baltimore, Maryland USA at the Baltimore Convention Centre. Co-located is the AGG1 Aggregates Academy & Expo.

IBP Select offers the same assistance as the broader IBP programme, but with a scope of five countries. The 2015 World of Asphalt IBP Select program will target Argentina, China, Germany, Poland, and United Kingdom. The selection is based on DOC outreach and show management research. Under IPB and IBP Select, the US Government assists show promotion through its in-country embassies and consulates and recruits official trade delegations to attend. IPB and IBP Select also provide exhibitors with practical hands-on guidance such as export counselling, market analysis and matchmaking services.

World of Asphalt 2015 will operate an International Trade Centre at the show, with DOC and show staff, to advance interaction between show exhibitors and international visitors.

“World of Asphalt already attracts an audience from around the world, but with this DOC assistance we extend our reach to more potential customers; they can see what our exhibitors and industry have to offer,” said World of Asphalt 2015 chair Rick Moore, Chairman, Lehman-Roberts Company. “More global participation in the show adds more value, with the opportunity to talk with fellow professionals from North America and overseas, to gain a broader perspective on the industry issues and challenges we face,” he added.
