US $1.2bn Zhoukou-Zhengzhou, China highway construction begins
Work has begun on constructing a US $ 1.2 billion 144km highway between Zhengzhou and Zhoukou in China. The highway has a designed speed of 120km/hour and a width of 28m.

Work has begun on constructing a US $ 1.2 billion 144km highway between Zhengzhou and Zhoukou in China. The highway has a designed speed of 120km/hour and a width of 28m.
Polish contractors Salini Poland and PBDiM Kobylarnia are building a 64km section of the A1 highway between
Toru (Northwest of Warsaw) and Kowale (just south of Gdansk on the Northern coast). This project will complete a key section of the highway and is being funded by the Polish road authority (GDDKiA). Worth some €107 million this is one of three schemes being undertaken by the consortium to complete the main A1 highway.

Work is starting on Poland’s S7 expressway. Italian firm Salini Impregilo is leading a consortium to construct a 21.5km stretch of the S7 expressway. The section lies between the Jedrzejow and Checiny junctions. The deal is worth nearly €144.67 million. The completion deadline is set for the third quarter of 2017.
